Linguistics Laboratory
The +MorPhoSe Linguistics Laboratory (Syntax, Morphology, Phonetics and Semantics) (http://synmorphose.compulaw.gr/), founded at the beginning of the academic year 2010-11, aims at the dissemination of the academic research on Linguistics as well as the exchange of scientific views within the academic community at the Department of Greek Philology at Democritus University of Thrace. It addresses the faculty members, PhD candidates, undergraduate students and the international scientific community. The Linguistics Laboratory supports the teaching needs and activities in Linguistics, and organises seminars and lectures for the PhD and undergraduate students delivered by Greek and foreign linguists. It also promotes activities of linguistic interest, particularly in the fields of applied linguistics, such as reading animation and creative writing workshops. Finally, it encourages work on research projects.
