The Department of Greek Philology at Democritus University of Thrace (Komotini, Greece) is pleased to announce the organization of an International Conference in honour of Professor Emeritus Robert Maltby on the occasion of his receipt of an Honorary Doctorate at Democritus University of Thrace. The conference, entitled ‘Latin Language and Literature: (Old) Limits and (New) Perspectives’, will take place on the 6^th and 7^th of November 2019 in Komotini, Greece (Chamber of Commerce & Industry of Rhodope) with the participation of Prof. Em. Maltby’s colleagues and former students from Greece and abroad (UK, Austria, Italy, Cyprus).

Conferment of an Honorary Doctorate upon Professor Emeritus Robert Maltby: Τhe Department of Greek Philology at Democritus University of Thrace (Komotini, Greece) is pleased to announce the conferment of an Honorary Doctorate upon ROBERT MALTBY, Professor Emeritus of Latin, University of Leeds. The ceremony will take place on Wednesday 6 November 2019 at 19.00 hrs, Central Amphitheatre, Democritus University of Thrace, Komotini. Following the conferment of the Honorary Doctorate Prof. Em.
