The Department of Greek Philology at Democritus University of Thrace (Komotini, Greece) is pleased to announce the organization of an International Conference in honour of Professor Emeritus Robert Maltby on the occasion of his receipt of an Honorary Doctorate at Democritus University of Thrace. The conference, entitled ‘Latin Language and Literature: (Old) Limits and (New) Perspectives’, will take place on the 6th and 7th of November 2019 in Komotini, Greece (Chamber of Commerce & Industry of Rhodope) with the participation of Prof. Em. Maltby’s colleagues and former students from Greece and abroad (UK, Austria, Italy, Cyprus).
